One honest caveat we give every client: moisture-resistant board is built to shrug off splashes and steam, it is not waterproof, so a sealed benchtop and a wiped-down cabinet still do the real work.

The flat-pack question is a fair one, especially here, because IKEA at Springvale and Bunnings Kaboodle are both a short drive away and their vanities are cheap. The difference is not distance, it is fit. Measure and design

It starts with a proper site measure, not a guess. We come to your home or premises anywhere across Dandenong and the south-east, measure every wall including where it runs out of square, and talk through how you use the space. Build in the workshop

Once you sign off, we build your cabinetry in the workshop to fine tolerances. Are your bathroom vanities waterproof?

No cabinet is truly waterproof, and we will never claim otherwise. Do you supply the basin and tapware, or do I?

Either way works. Many clients supply their own basin and mixer to suit their taste and budget, and we set the cabinet and cut-outs up around them. If you would rather we handle it, we can recommend and supply quality basins and fittings. Just let us know at measure so the drawer clearances and cut-outs are correct.

How long does a custom vanity take?

Once the design and finish are locked in, a typical vanity is generally built and ready to install within a couple of weeks, depending on our current workload and your benchtop choice (natural stone and porcelain add lead time because they are cut by our licensed stonemasons). We confirm realistic dates in writing before you commit, and we install to suit your plumber's schedule.

Can you build a double vanity for a shared family bathroom?

Absolutely, and it is one of our most common jobs in this area given how many households here are large or multi-generational. We build twin-bowl vanities from about 1,500mm to 1,800mm with soft-close drawers each side, plenty of shared storage and hard-wearing finishes, all scribed to your wall and plumbing so both basins line up cleanly with the mirror and tiles above.

Do you work with engineered stone benchtops?

No. We do not fabricate or install engineered (reconstituted) stone benchtops, in line with the national prohibition that took effect on 1 July 2024. For vanities we offer laminate, natural granite and marble (cut by licensed stonemasons), porcelain and solid timber tops, all of which are compliant and well suited to a bathroom.
