Dandenong Custom Cabinets was built around a simple idea: the households of Melbourne's south-east deserve cabinetry made to fit their homes, not the other way around. Greater Dandenong is one of the most multicultural pockets of the country, full of large, multigenerational families who cook every day and need real storage and hard-wearing kitchens to match. Much of the local housing is established post-war stock in suburbs like Noble Park, Doveton and Springvale, where dated kitchens and quirky floorplans call for custom work rather than fixed flat-pack modules. At the same time, newer estates around Keysborough and Lyndhurst keep bringing fresh homes that need wardrobes, laundries and vanities fitted out. The workshop is led hands-on by Steve Smith, who has spent more than twelve years designing and building custom cabinetry across Dandenong and south-east Melbourne. Steve is on the tools and involved in the detail of each job, from the first measure to the final adjustment on install day.
